In the entire review, there is not one mention of the drawbacks or flaws of this film. The reviewer goes fullswing in appreciating all aspects of the film and everyone involved. But when you look at the rating...the film gets 2.5??? Suriya is not a star. not yet. He fails to impress when not handled by quality directors. KSR is a massala director with stories set in the village milieu, and a successful one at that. His attempts at making intelligent, technically brilliant movies have failed miserably. An amateur review...
I have seen both movies and I can say for sure that peranmai is way better than aadhavan... Pavithra needs to be shown the door...useless... Suriya's roller coaster ride has come to an end..

this is one of the shittiest movies i have seen for a long while , KS Ravikumar thinks he can take people's intelligence for granted and what he ultimately concocted is an affront to even our most entertainment seeking minds...i watched it on the 1st day , i wanted to get out in 10 mins flat, there was no applause or laughter for the entire length of the movie, i think this reviwer has been paid by the producer to write such a nice review , dont get cheated , its a megalomaniac trip for the producer and director and surya ofcourse the last closing scenes will vouch for that

Did you really watch the movie? I watched it in Bangalore Innovative Multiplex. The audience thoroughly enjoyed Vadivelu's comedy scenes.
Movies are for fun and entertainment. You want to get out in 10 mins flat...sorry, then your mind is not in the movie. You shdn't have come to this movie at atall. Yes, there are enough flaws in the movie but still I didn't feel cheated for the money I paid. Good for Diwali mood.
Pavithra rated the movie with good intentions Peranmai too low and ridiculed it with adjectives that hurt. See how she has rated this mass masala crap. Is it because you like Surya? If you like Surya, take DVDs of his movies and watch. And write a blog on him. Why use a popular site like Rediff to push your agenda and fantasies! Shame on you.
how come u describe such a thing a car hanging in mid air poked with a ingeniously designed time bomb when surya goes up in a rope pluck the bomb and poke it in the flying helicopter and wait till the last second of explosion...very sorry i could not write short as the irritation we undergo is more than this. mindless action, aimless screenplay, pathetic flashback, unwarranted songs, lengthy stuff make this film a real not to be watched category.

Are you new to watching masala movies? This is common in masala movies from any state/industry. From MGR, NTR..times this trend continues..and will be continued. Enjoy the movie, leavw the illogical to the kids.
Do not waste ur time and money by watching this kindof worst sentiment movies. Mr. Ravikumar, change ur style atleast hereafter this flop, Otherwise ppl will through u away..

Comedy Track would have been good if avoided Ramesh Kanna as Ilayaman. Vadivelu's comic should have to be limited, sometime it irritate. An entertainer

u r right . Surya is at his best when he does class roles , like Sanjay Ramasamy in ghajini . Mass movies does not suit for him .
