London: Soccer star David Beckham was held up for three hours at the Los Angeles airport as his bags were searched.
The English footballer has been staying in the US for quite sometime now with his wife former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and two sons, and he plays for the American Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy and the England national team.
The 34-year-old footballer, who flew in from London on Thursday, was held up when Customs at the airport pulled his 12 holdalls apart, reported Sun online.
The previous night he had played for England against Belarus at Wembley and then had gone out to celebrate with his friend Dave Gardner at London's Nobu and Bungalow 8.
