Rediff normally puts down any non-Khan movie.
And Blue is no exception.

A simply awful, meaningless movie, a new low standard
by Oomshik Tooshik on Oct 19, 2009 11:01 AM  | Hide replies

- Extremely dumb ending with no meaning. Made up fight when the villain says Akshay is a traitor. And Sanju baba believes it instantly!
- Sanju baba was apparently a white kid with a white dad. See the flashback!
- How did Akshay Kumar 'clear his family name' by taking the treasure?
- First time people dive for treaure in a sunken ship in shallow waters. Look where their boat drops anchor.
- Lara Dutta calls May Day emergency from the boat in the Bahamas in Hindi!

Do any of these people see the movie afterward and think how horrendous and meaningless it is?

Visual treat!!
by Desi on Oct 19, 2009 09:43 AM  | Hide replies

Look like making this movie involved some hard work and planning.. We should appreciate the effort.

Story not so great..but visuals compensate for everything.. Didn't expect this from bollywood.

If story is so important for you then go read a book

if all u like is visuals then go watch a documentary on underwater life!a good movie has to be a combination of everything and needless to say the most important is the plot, the story line which shud justify everything else in the film, even the visuals.no doubt there was hardwork and planning but in the end if they cudnt pull it off, it was really pointless!

In Hollywood if a high-tech high budget movie is made, it does make millions & people appreciate the hard work & learn from mistakes by making a better one next time

Bollywood is the biggest but the crappiest film industry with most movies big flops

Blue is a new concept in Bollywood, it must be appreciated & such movies should be made in the future again

Aryan,in what sense do you mean such movies should be appreciated...of course ,i agree with u about encouraging new type of movies...but the makers should make at least fair amount of effort in the main aspects like story and plot.Dont blame the audience always.Blue though technically sound..is a crappy movie....

Yes yes we all know about your world class tamil movies. I did see one of the biggest ever tamil blockbuster - Dasavatharam. This was one of the most crappiest movies I have ever seen.

I am sure most of the movies are like that.
