Diwali 2009 has disappointed as far as the first day business goes. Blue is as expected and did very well on day one but the other two films have had low openings.
Even if we account for Diwali Puja and festivities the numbers that have been put up by All The Best and Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna are poor for films of their size and the promotion which has taken place.
As per the limited collections available as yet it seems that the combined first day collections of All The Best and Main Aur Mrs Khanna are around 50% of the first day collections of Blue
The combined total of the three films for first weekend is going to be much lower than expected due to two of the films not managing to open as expected
