i think amitabh is, was and will always remain the best entertainer this country has ever seen. one may buy or make friends in media and keep themselves in race as the legend but truth can not be bought. presently all the so called superstar would have vanished from limelight if media would never have covered them. any comparison of any star with amitabh is complete foolishness. legends are not compared with anyone. As for big boos 3, amitabh is doing a great job.
i watched Bigg boss 3 and and also Karan Johars coffee show! I have acquired real respect for Mr amitabh bacchan...i cannot put my finger on it but something about him makes people situp and take note of him....he's not good looking, his features are'nt expressive but i think the sincerity, humility, intelligence and wizardry with words is what is the secreat of his mysterious charm! I have become his fan! He outshone shahrukh khan by a huge margin on koffee with karan. Infact Shahrukh khan looked clearly outclassed ... although one felt the questions and the people who were called on the show were all to lend weight to SRK but inspite of their presence Mr bachhan really came out winner.....i like shahrukh too but if one had to choose between the two i think Mr bachan won by a margin...Actually AB sounds educated and classy and SRK is more expressive but seems unconvincing in his wit and modesty...
According to overnight ratings released by aMAP overnight tv ratings meter, the topper of Sunday, Big Boss3 net reach rating was a 6.0 while the Farah Khan hosted Tere Mere Beach Mein, which had surprisingly pitted Shah Rukh Khan opposite Bachchan, ended up faring less than 4.5. Ghajini, bollywood's top blockbuster, on NDTVImagine the same day, drew a top rating of 3.1 while Akshay Kumar starrer Singh is King on Sony drew around 3.3 according to aMAP. Big Boss 3 opener also reportedly doubled the viewership from the previous seasons of Big Boss 2 hosted by Shilpa Shetty, and Big Boss 1. BIGB is big even on small screen...no farahSRK combo can touch his personality....Just see what happenned to KBC3 and Paanchvi Fail....
the fact that an appearance by 67 year old Bachchan still ends up doubling the previous Big Boss seasons, and trumping the current competition, including top stars like Shahrukh Khan-Farah Khan, head to head on Television viewership meters across India speaks to the enduring mass appeal of the cine star
Big B is such a amazing personality that I glued to TV for all the time till he was there. This show is super success now. Great honor to see such Mega SuperStar on TV screen sitting at home.

Its not only Amitabh Bachchan's charisma. Remember that Big Boss has its own following.There was the excitement of seeing the mysterious contenders. And Shahrukh's interview was just that--an interview. It would have been prudent to compare Amitabh's interview with Shahrukh's interview. Lets not be too judgemental.

Big Boss charisma was over in season 2 bcoz of vulgarity & stupid language of some contestants that is the only reason to revive the charisma of BIG BOSS producers have to rope in Big B coz they new somebody larger than life is needed to revive TRP ratings of Big Boss

Big B is just too big even to be compared to SRK, SRK has his positives but if one begins a comparison, its nothing short of a laugh! Big B has proved time & again even at his current age that he is the biggest ever star India has ever had!
Just watched the first episode and BIGB was excellent as a presenter...I am sure it will be a great success like KBC....no one comes close to him when it comes to hosting a show.....
saw his unforgettable tour show last year in LosAngeles and no wonder even at this age he has such a huge fan following all over the world....waiting for his PAA movie which should be a success like CHEENI KUM..
