Law
by Amrit Patil on Oct 03, 2009 02:19 PM

There should be Law for not to change the History. If they keep changing name like Madras to Chennai/Calcutta to Kolkotta/Bombay to Mumbai etc etc. Mumbai name was already existed from long time & its a regeional name put by original residents. Bombay or Bambbai is the comfortable pronounsation for English people or non-Maharashtrians. There should be universal law in all over India that nothing should be change which gives birth to contraversis. Even Govt. should not alllow people to build statues. To put flags of different colors which causes riots. They should not allow people dig the roads for putting different party boards etc etc. Regionalism/Castism/Language egoism/Politicians & opprtunitism are the biggest enemies of India. So come together & save India.

he clearly says when migrants (including Marathis) whichever states they go to settle must speak in the language of the state where they have migrated to. assimilation is the message.

stop listening to hindi news channels.

assimilation cannot be forced unless it is made a law...if that be the case Raj Thackrey should address in hindi when speaking to hindi news channel for the sake of assimilation...or is he too ashamed of speaking in official language of the INDIA (in bold)????

Its a pity that in a country where 300 million people are BPL. We are spending our time and blood in discussing why mumbai is called bombay in a movie. Give me a break we should set our priorities first. But this wouldnt change people of india are jokers. British made fool of us for 200 years and Politicians for next 62 years. I am a proper mumbaikar staying in Mumbai from last 27 years...pls explain as to by referring Mumbai as Bombay how will things improve in BOMBAY?
Instead People like RT or any other politician should raise how to improve the infrastructure in Mumbai...they should agitate in providing compulsory education be it providing free education to those who cannot afford...This way automatically everything will improve.
But presently the politicians including RT is just filling their pockets.

u are talking as if u are illiterate. explain me what is serious in this. and u have sick mentality. we all are indians and nothing else. no indian is outsider to me. if u have attitude like people of other states are stealing jobs of marathis then i must say that marathi peoples are also getting job in other cities. and if marathi people are not able to get the job in other state then its person specific problem. man grow up. think wide.

Mumbai is not OWNED by anbody.
by Anoop Sukumar on Oct 03, 2009 12:00 PM  | Hide replies

Raj thackarey or marathi people for that matter dont't own Mumbai, its for everyone who had dropped their sweat and blood to make the city what it is today. People can't criticse the so called outsiders just because he is a marathi. Raj thackary is the perfect example of this.. he doesnt do good for his people he is just raking up STUPIDEST OF issues, and its surpising that he has so many idiot followers..!!!

Mumbai is own by Maharashtra people or you can say Marathi people, let be very clear my friend. Same like Dubai is own by Arab people, anyone can work there but the credit goes to Arabs people forget those who had dropped their sweat and blood to make the city what it is today.
