its not raj thackerays Mumbai. its the mumbai of everyone. we have never divided cities on the basis of caste religion or community.No one can do this. and about Mumbai and Bombay controversy it was Bombay earlier and if someone takes the name of Bombay will he or she be hanged? is this a country with democracy or one man ruled nation i fail to understand. i have never seen someone taking the name of calcutta in kolkata and Madras in chennai troubled as it happens in mumbai. is there any law and order or sanity among the reasonings about the name fiasco? god knows.
Time and again, for the last so many years, Marathis have been telling Bollywood producers to refer to the city as Mumbai as it has been renamed more than 10 years back, but still they do it. If they do it on purpose, they are definitely hurting sentiments.

yeah...its a mistake to call allahabad as prayag or benaras as varanasi!
