raja sen is good and his reviews are the most accurate, but he does have a soft corner for srk, but then most in the media have it. the best thing abt raja sen is that he's a true and honest critic, who does not care for reputations unlike Khalid Mohammed (reviewd for TOI some years back), Taran Adarsh (worst critic possible), and worst of them all Nikhat Kazmi who currently writes for TOI.

i feel just "entertainment" everytime doesnt work. U have to show realism and sensible things to the audiences as well. Movies like "De dana Dan" just come and go. They really dont make any impact on audience's mind.

Review: ‘De Dana Dan’ strives hard to deliver a rib-tickling comedy!
Mumbai: The troika of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal is back with a bang. After the cult comedy caper ‘Hera Pheri’ (2000), director Priyadarshan once again brings back the fabled trio for his yet another laughter riot ‘De Dana Dan.’
Although ‘De Dana Dan’ hits the Box Office almost after a decade of ‘Hera Pheri,’yet, the movie is a brilliant example of Priyadarshan’s craftsmanship when it comes to handling the genre of comedy. Even though the fabled director may keep saying that he loves realistic cinema; time and again his comic capers have proved that slapstick genre rules the roost when it comes to Box Office success.
For starters, ‘De Dana Dan’ is in no way a sequel to ‘Hera Pheri’ even though it repeats the latter’s male leads. Well, the movie hardly shows Sunil Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in a single shot except the sidesplitting chaotic climax.
‘De Dana Dan’ is the story of a driver Nitin Bankar (Akshay Kumar) and a courier boy Ram Mishra (Sunil Shetty). Despite being losers in their own way, both protagonists have girlfriends (Katrina and Sameera respectively). With money being a necessity for Nitin and Ram, both plan a kidnap, that too of a dog!
