Am 100% sure had this movie included some not so famous stars, it would have been an utter flop inspite of having such a good storyline and the execution of it. But thanks to Saifeenas hot bedroom scene and an outstanding title track, most of the usual cine goers who DONT see beyond brainless comedies/action, skin shows and good music in d movies will go for it unaware of an intense, gripping storyline and dialogues which of course would bore them to death... Kurbaan is a serious movie based on terrorism (reality) and according to me much better than New York (which is not a bad movie either). So if u belong to d former class of cine goers plz wait for Radio, Dan Dana Dan....

Very well directed, shot and photographed with a great story and great acting. If you love movies, don't let brain dead RSS chaddiwalas on this board - many of whom admit to not even having watched the movie before denouncing it - put you off from this.
This is not as good as A Wednesday for me, but it comes close. Watch it - it will linger in your mind for a long time.

Its an average flick with action lifted striaght from hollywood movie 'arlington road'. If you liked it means you have rarely seen any english movie or u r a relative of kjo.

OK fine... what is average for you can be good for me... that much variance is perfectly explainable by differences in personal taste. It needn't mean that you are an idiot or that I am.
I do object to people trashing this movie outright because by any objective standard this is a competent piece of filmaking. I mean it is not like the average Bollywood production is a towering monumnent to originality - compared to other stuff that the Bollywood machine regularly serves up, so when people trash this movie I wonder what is their criteria beyond this movie passing up a chance to sell an "all muslims are terrorists! line.
I think people who have a political problem with this movie should be more honest and just say that "the movie is technically quite well done but I object to its potraying Muslims in a positive light because I am one of those people who believe that all Muslims are terrorists and no opportunity should be lost to show them in a negative light". If that is somebody's agenda, they should just come clean and make it clear that their criticism is unrelated to the merits of the movie and just a political statement!

such a stupid movie time waste and if karan goes on making movies like this iam sure he will be stripped at the US embassy one day like SRK etc etc
