if not for SRK picking him up from obscurity and making him a mainstream director, he would be nowhere today. But he talks as if he created SRK the star. SRK should stop doing movies with him to show his real worth.
It seems that Karan Johar is immatured. When many directors in Hollywood and Bollywood are experimenting with new ideas and new faces Karan is afraid to experiment. When SRK and Amitabh were just new, many directors took a chance with them. In fact Karan has not made SRK a superstar, he came of his own. Take for example DAnny Boyle whose caste was completely new and it went on tin many awards incuding the Oscars.

exactly....it was SRK who picked up KJ from obsucrity and made him a frontline director...or else he would have been another so and so flop director....
