probably the review was written in expectation that an vampire movie would be full of blood and violence.
This movie is kind of cult, in the sense that the characters are being followed by huge group of people.
This one is simple romantic story between a vampire and human, if you want to see some villains you can expect a bare wolf (Edward) and few other vampire.
The movie has all the ingredients of a wonderful romantic story , awesomely set locations, wonderful camera work , great music , and the chemistry is amazing,
Twilight is a love story. Vampire being only a backdrop to the story. Bella and Edward are now eternal in the heart's of the readers like Romeo and Juliet :) 10 million copies sold and counting.

I guess Twilight part 1 released in India only today. I was looking for the full moon review too and felt it odd that all the indian newspapers carried the part 1 review.

Actually part 1&2 was released in India and Abroad the same day! It's not the critic's fault!
Twilight is not just another Vampire movie laced with gore and blood, looks like the reviewer spent half the time eating popcorn and drinking coke rather than watch the movie. Pathetic effort to award just 2 stars to this brilliant movie. If you want normal vampire movies suggest you to review some 1980s stuff
