Honestly... I saw the movie last night at midnight and he is right. It was horrible. I have been an avid lover of the books but have been very disappointed with the films. I too was so sure the new budget would improve the film and it DID NOT! And you say the movies follows the book, but really if you know the novels most of New Moon was a total SHAM! and totally invented by the movie makers. The plot line might be the same, but that was it! God I think there were all of 2 lines that were the same in the book as they were in the movie. The movie was a major let down... but will I buy it when it comes out on DVD? Yes, b/c it is part of the phenomena that is Twilight, but I probably wont watch it as religiously as I did Twilight when it came out.

Are you kidding me twilight was horrible there was so much of the important things that were not even touched on in Twilight. The makeup was horrible. Personally I think if ther was a better actress playing Bella that would help. I was so hoping she would do better in this film but I think she was a big let down. She does not have the passion that is need to play the role. But you cant change her now. I feel the cast was alot better. Th erole of the voltori elders were greatly cast as well as the wolf pack. But all in all I think that New Moon was alot better than twilight. At least you got the basis of the story. I will watch it again and purchese the DVD.

For the critics: If you have read the books, then you know that the 2 lovers are apart for most of the book in New Moon. The movie was made for Twilight fans, not critics and the fans won't be disappointed.

How unfortunately sad that a man who obviously never enjoyed to pure poetry of a Stephanie Meyer's Novel. The decision to leave the movie just like the book was genius. For a person that reads the saga over and over to be able to see it visually was great. If your not a romantic it's not for you, if you don't love the twilight saga it's not for you, but if you love every single detail of one of the Twilight saga's novels then be prepared to fall in love again.

Many of 2009's top grossers like Tr2, ice age and wolverine were critically panned too. What which matters is entertainment, I guess.
About paranormal activity, like somebody said, for a n00b The Blair Witch Project is just some kids running around in the woods, but for a horror fan, it's an amusing piece of cinema.
