If not for an NRI . Similarly each of the above will find a NRI ( mostly next gen of taxi drivers) from Canada or UK and claim that they are their soul mate etc etc. Only NRIs can tolerate such used women.

@sameer bhagwat,your comment really made me sad,I am a Taxi driver in one of the gulf countries,making good money,after i failed to get a proper job in India.not all Taxi drivers are bad or uneducated,do not hate Taxi drivers,who knows circumstances can lead you to be one,i use to hate this profession.BTW i am a postgraduate in physics from a reputed indian university with a good marks througout,dabbled in teaching for sometime,but ultimately landed this job which gives me and my family social security.

Junaid it is wonderful to see such an honest post. We Indians are the biggest hypocrites. We ape the Western world in everything but when it comes to the crunch we like to talk about our culture. And the truth about our culture is that it is more morally depraved than that of the West. And you are absolutely right there is no problem in doing whatever job in an honest & straight manner. Btw :I am talking about the 2nd generation .. the generation after the taxi drivers.I am sure Mr Kundras forefathers were taxi drivers in UK.

taxi drivers may be making more money, but money does not bring social status.At the end of the day,they are "taxi drivers".

Taxi driver may bring low social status in india but in US , UK any honest livelyhood is respected.
This is the reason why india will stay a third world country for ever.
