Awesome & Clear-headed Direction
by Ruchi More on Dec 08, 2009 05:24 PM

I especially would like to contradict ur statement - "Director Satish Rajwade seems confused throughout the film but shows a few sparks of brilliance"
u might not have liked d film, u might have disagreed with the plot but for god's sake, the director is anything but confused. one can easily make out that the end was very clear in the directors mind and that is the way in which the screen play has been chalked out! all in all, i found Gaiir to be fantastic, even above many of our bollywood so-called thrillers! they could learn a thing or two from mr.Rajwade..!

by Anand H on Nov 09, 2009 10:01 AM  | Hide replies

Marathi films are still being made?? and being reviewed by rediff? didnt know that.

And anyway instead of making such B-grade illegible movies its better this industry shuts down.

in 2005 - Shwas was chosen for oscar entry.. this year another marathi movies "Harishchandrachi Factory" is going for same...
there are several marvalous movies made recently which depict true situation in contry.. like farmer suicids, corruption and so on..
You should have googled before putting comment..

so what...
by s mumbai on Nov 06, 2009 11:05 PM

not all films are great...but the problem is with honesty with which reviews are written...it is a matter of shame that as the director didnt finance this review, 2 stars awarded...idiotic movies earn more stars...the writer has comitted n no of gramatical mistakes and for that he dserves one star (half for his intellect and half for his english)..
