bullcrap. there has never been a period of perfect movie making anywhere in the world. we are better off than being stuck to the tried and tested formula movies of the 80s. rather have a not too ambitious movie that tells a story for 10% of the masses at a time - small budget movie, than have a "family-drama-murder-mystery-action-thriller-comedy movie" meant for all members of the family.
