Kid's parents are very greedy!
by Sunny on May 28, 2009 11:37 PM

I am sure kids were paid during casting and filming. There was trust setup for their education. The kids get money for any public appearence, they make. Where did all this money go????

The kids were fairly compensated for their work. Just becoz these kids are from slums, does that make producers liable? This is ridiculous!!

That father of the kid, needs to learn a lesson or two and should be held accountable. He cannot demand money like this.

Wondering what the parents of these kids did with the money given to them during the making of the film and after it's release.

Poor Danny Boyle, they will keep on pestering him for money the rest of their lives and do nothing else in life. I am sure the house that they get from the Slum Dog Millionaire will be sold out within a few years and the money squandered away on useless and wasteful expenditure.

What Danny Boyle should do is take both the kids away to UK and ensure that they get good education, if he is interested in making their life.

And it brought a good name to Indians, now onwards they are known as "SLUMDOGS" by the westerners..quote an instance by one US legislator addressing Indians as SLUMDOG in an Interview. The only money was made by the Producers(again Westerners). It was deliberate attempt by the West to highlight such movie which portrayes India in a shaby condition and they gave the Oscar to it so that all over the world comes to know about it and watches the portrayed Indian Plight. Our very attempt to portray India as a fast emerging Nation doing exclusive improvment in all sector then the currently sick west has been so smartly put off by the Westerners. This is again a ploy which was very well supported by our own people(needless to mention) for their own greed. Its now on us to understand the Nefarious designs of the west.

What kind of English are you speaking/writing?
Also the spelling of Oskar? It is Oscar..
It seems you hate the letter 'T' and hence ignored it from the word 'THE'...
Or referring the movie as a human..
