you are rather weirdOO Idiot than...wizardid..the music composer tstand no chance to be mentioned along with AR RAHMAN..well those guys can buy oscar duplicates from Bangkok Market
Pritam and anu malik should be given doctorate degree in copying music... ahahaha. Just search for pritam in youtube you can find all the songs which he has copied and from where... enjoy.
Though I am a fan of Rahman, I think considering music directors, Illayaraja from the south is highly underestimated. He is as good as Rahman and produces one of the best background musics in the current time. Many people have to listen to his music and they will know that he was the one who first bought different flavours to music.

yes sir. Agreed.Illayaraja namaha! even Rahman knows it. The only problem is illayaraja was limited only to south and most of the fellow citizens from North dont know about his music.
Cheeni kum was just a sample....
Truly he should also be given the doctorate award. But illayaraja wont mind another symphony award.

In Ananda Vikatan, AR Rahman biography, AR Rahaman stated that, he follows the same method of devotion to god what he learned from Ilayaraja. He said that without Ilayaraja, he may have disturbed in the cine field. This is why he is getting good tunes like Ilayaraja get.
But Ilayaraja and Yuvan not interested in Hindi music because they make films in a hurry manner. They will complete a movie in a timeframe less than 6 months. Here most important films are taking more than 1.5 years time. Study the biography, it is very interesting.

Illayaraja modified MSV 's music ie legendary Tamil film music director M.S.Viswanathan,pioneer of modern tamil cine music, but AR Rahman created fusion in style & Hindi music to the taste of North Indians..that made the difference & ofcourse AR into Hollywood as well so he is much above Illayaraja..

Not now mate..well if you put this across to Bharat shah he may give some diamond studded priceless stuff.........AR is good but he has to go mile b4 he sleeps
why does it have to take a foreign entity to make the indian ones realise the preciousness and importance of their own talented achievers ?? its really shameful that so many indian achievers are still waiting recognition in their own country while useless nincompoop celebrities who are not known beyond India and Indians abroad get accredited with Doctrates, Padmashris and Datuks..
