You are right. Kamal is the trendsetter. Vikram and Suriya are now taking it forward. Bollywood is no match for the versatile talent of Kollywood.

yes, bollywood makeovers are a joke. All they need to do is watch kamal haasan's movies to understand the meaning of make-over. Rediff , grow up.

I agree with all of you folks. There is no match for Kamal in Indian film industry. Roles he adapted and acting skills are best in the world.
I have seen couple of movies of Vikram, his acting skills are superb.
When I searched the dictionaries I got 2 meani ngs for the word 1. makeover - an overall beauty treatment (involving a person's hair style and cosmetics and clothing) intended to change or improve a person's appearance 2. makeover - a complete reconstruction and renovation of something Sorry to say that neither of the above are justified by the actors. Changing the appearance is part and parcel of each and every actor. Rediff please improvise your writer's vocabulary

The real makeover was by Aamir Khan for Mangal Pandey and then Ghajni. he underwent a complete transformation to fit into these characters. In Ghajni you notice how he transforms himself post attack. Now you see how Hrithik Roshan is undergoing change to fit into his new upcoming film Krrishhh II.

amir khan for ghajni wasn't great acting, he didn't the fit the character convingly of a caged beast. watch surya in roiginal one, amir practically copies the same expressions from surya.
these guys are playing the character, thats no makeover. I will give u some makeover examples: When saif debuted he used to look like a girl, now he looks like a man Same for karishma, she was a man, now a woman
