by Communicators India on May 04, 2009 05:06 PM  | Hide replies

AB, Sachin, and so many celebrities in the country know how to use this system to enjoy their lives. I wish we were as lucky/gifted as they are...

Do not expect any sense of responsibility from anyone, this is India man! I love my country, I love its role models...

AMITABHA BACHCHAN IS A GOOD PERSONALITY. ANY ONE CAN SAY ANYTHING BUT REAL FACT IS THIS - BACHCHAN FAMILY IS SO GOOD FAMILY THAT THEY CAN NOT GO AGAINST LAW. SO I THINK NO ONE SHOULD BLAME HIM AND HE SHOULD GET RELIEF FOR HIS IT TAX AND ETC. I AM SHINDE B V FROM SHENDI,AHMEDNAGAR,MAHARASHTRA.

Stop doing this nonsense. You people are hopeless Indians.

Find out how many good things you have done in life than throwing dirt on Big B. You people will realize when someone will abuse your elderly family members in the same way. Why abuse such a legend who has not even spoken a word with IT dept on this matter and what's the mistake from him if he got exemption from High Court?

You people live to find out others mistakes and wait day night to get opportunity to abuse others. Shame on you.

Wish India is Civilized
* I pay TAXES.
* With them I buy CIVILIZATION.
But almost all Indian Celebrities CONCEAL their WEALTH in election affidavits to EVADE taxes.

Shame on Rediff who publishes wrong news on Legend Big B
by Ritu Chawala on May 04, 2009 04:32 PM  | Hide replies

Rediff PLEASE STOP THIS DISCUSSION BOARD. Few brainless are vomiting on this forum. Why you guys want to drag Big B in this matter.

If High Court has given exemption to Big B then how come he is guilty?

Why some intelligent people are giving their opinion and using bad words for Big B. They should find out first how to survive and feed their families instead of abusing legendary people who worked till end of their life to be successful.

The person posted this article must be having same corrupt mentality as those who are cursing Big B without any reasons.

Again I am asking, If High Court has given exemption to Big B then how come he is guilty?

Can this same high court give such decisions for we middle class indians?

if yes, prove me when and how?

Nothing against Amitabh Bachchan, but we pay tax for 2-3 lacs we earn an year and this guys get tax exemption for crores and crores of rupees... something has to be fishy...

I may be wrong but i dont think i am wrong... :)

hey Ritu,

why dont you read this article and take some account and taxation classes?

you will get all answers for your questions.

let me tell you, high court has given him exemption on income made in india, show is telecommuted in india and he is also paid by a firm doing business in India.

Lets say big B working for an american company, for an american show and broadcasted on american channel then he can get exemption under that particular act/ section.

All these celebrities are suppose to set examples. Does it matter how many hours he works?

Rules are rules and they must be followed by you, me and Big B.

HE IS NO EXEMPTION

I agree with you Himanshu. Amitabh has been good & successful in his profession.... period. Some of Indians are emotional fools; they are unable to perceive an actor beyond his filmy image. Sentiments are running high; same is evident from the responses to your comment. Very rightly said, what sort of company he keeps. Whole world know what is the character of Amar Singh. The sting operation done on Amar Singh where he is talking shit about Sanya Mirza and many other Bollywood actresses, unfortunately Amar Singh managed a stay from Supreme Court to block it going air. Amitabh is aware of this episode. I am surprised how come Amitabh let Amar Singh enter his house and go cozy with his laughter-in-law Ash.

Sorry Himanshu,
Dirty people find dirt everywhere.
Amitabh Bacchan is incomparable. His father Harivansh Rai and mother Teeja were people of deep honour. Amitabh himself has seen many crisis but has overcome each with determination. Even in this age when people retire he is working hard. He could have filed for bankruptcy when ABCL failed but this man true to his character faught his way. Against all odds, he has survived. With the amount of political vendetta against him, he definitely needs some political hand holding.
Himanshu look at his positive side. Every human makes some compromise. But despite everything I can say :- "This is a Man of Honour"

i endosse the views expressed by Mr. Raizada. Amitabh was a man of honour till he was not with Amar Singh. ever Since he joined with Amar Singh and Company His morality and popularity is dropping. actually it is these people who are teaching him the dirty tricks. sooner he part his ways with these people, the better

I have the greatest regard for AB as an actor but as a person i dont think he fits as a role model. Also when i say its a "Family" of cheats I m not referring to the Bacchan family but to the three close friends i.e., Amitabh, amar sing and mulayam singh.
