South indian heroines are not extinct. mamta mohandas ,asin, nayanthara, trisha, anusskha shetty, meera jasmine and many more top actress are south only not from north gone are the days when north indian girls were coming Why is that when south indian girls like deepika, vidya, aishwarya tabu shilpa etc work in bollywood it is okay but when north actress work it is all about good looks blah!! the truth is punjabi girls are not that great looking long nose tall!! not great features the only thing they do well is EXPOSE and that's how everybody accpets them . just bcause an actress is flop in bolyywood does not mean she does not have talent! take katrina kaif what talent does she have!!

i pity u man. tamil talent which gives a lifeline to bollywood have their mainstay as tamil industry and bollywood is secondary. eg - ARR, maniratnam. You guys cant find talent from your 700 million north population and come begging down south for directors, cinematographers, music composers and movies . I know you will not accept this fact or even research this fact as you are a northie ( whose definition is - a rigid ignorant and prejudiced person). So try comsuming ENO to mitigate your stomach burns. In fact if you take the ratio of (talent pool : quality of movies) bollywood would be one of the worst in the whole world. In no other country can a film industry from a particular state/province give a run to a so called "national" film industry.

shilpa shetty, aishwarya rai, vidya balan are born and bred in mumbai...meenakshi seshadri was from delhi..u can't call them from south anymore....th percentage of north heroines in south industry is much much more than south heroines in mumbai...get your facts correct
