I cant help but agree with my fellow readers. GT is one of the best movies I have seen in a long, long time. This one definitely joins my group of favorite movies...Forest Gump, Rocky, Training Day, Gladiator, Ten Commandments, Speed 1, Hannibal, American Gangster, Face-Off etc...I'm not trying to show-off by mentioning these great movies but to put it very simply; that's how much I loved GT. I think Clint looks fantastic in the movie and the two instances I loved the most were...The dialogue exchange between Clint and Bee when he locks him in the basement and the ending of the movie right from the unexpected climax to Clint's voice over....a truly amazing movie!!

Dont knw why, Rediff is hiring people to review an english movie, who even doesn't know how to read the story line of a movie. They are only fit and fine for bollywood masala movie, and all nautanki. This movie "Gran Torino" which has grossed USD$135 million all over the world in US itself in matter of 3 days. And, never be less than a legendry movie, and not less than 4 star deserves. You maroon "Elvis" dont knw a gal/boy or a gay like SRK, check out are you normal, or after saw movie, you became insane.
I couldn't believe that Clint wasn't nominated for his brilliant performance in this superbly directed film. If there was a message in SlumDog Millionaire - one of an underdog overcoming obstacles , then in Gran Torino Clint playing a bigoted war veteran who undergoes gradual change was touching. No other actor could have played the role as Clint did. I would have tied him for an Oscar. The movie is worth watching. I enjoyed it very much. 5 out 5 rating
These buggers need to grow up to write the Bollywood reviews. They suck at simple straight forward stupid bollywood stuff and think that they emerged to review/critic the Legend like Eastwoods movie. Grow up mo$ons

Eastwood goes into a neighbourhood without gun when he knows that the people/boys he is confrinting are armed. Over that he is agressive and tries to take out ciggis from his pocket, while opposition thinks its a gun and shoots him dead. How sillier and stupid can it get?

Dude.. your cracking me up.. lol that "aggressive" gesture where he takes out ciggies from his pocket was done on purpose so that the thugs end up killing him. This way the entire gang ends up in jail and effectively ends the violance in the neighbourhood. He did this as a revenge to the brutal rape done by the thugs on the hmong school girl..

dude..better say he livd on hi own conditions..he died on his own conditions...he knew he ws soon goin to die cuz of cancer (i suppose)..as u cn c blood coming outa his mouth due to smoking..bt he nvr stoppd it.he alwez livd on his terms. he prepared n he knew how hez goin to die..(remember he bought a suite..n he ws wearing the same 1 in d coffin)..!! he ws rock solid man!! damn too impressive character. lastly he went there so tht he cn die acc to his will n at d same tym giv them a lesson AND at d same tym..take the revenge too..! i hope now u mus ve got y did he do tht "stupid" stuff ;).....TC :)
