Nothing New

There is nothing new about the storyline except for a few minor twists here or there to make it look like an original. And why do we need such a story/movie to be made anyway when we have a similar domestic problems very very common within the society; courtesy of Hollywood and our Bollywood. Let alone the man, even God has not fully understood his own creation i.e. a woman.

Boring waste of time. Washed-out, vapid actors, silly director.

If you watch this movie, you will realise that this movie has no story line. I dont know why people are praising such a bull shit movie. This has some histronic acts by kate winslet. This movie is supposed to be based on a pulitzer prize winning novel which i have not read, but i can say with confidance that there are hundreds of indian movies much much beter than this. I would say go for slumdog millionaire instead of this shit movie.

The story of this movie reminds me of an amir khan , manisha koirala movie
Rohit Kumar (Aamir Khan) is an aspirant playback singer while Kiran (Manisha Koirala) is a classical singer-in-training
and then manisha runs away
See now Hollywood is also copying bollywood

No please!!
That was a very different film.. uska iska koi muqabla nahi...
Road is about aspirations - compromises - realisations...
that film was a stupid folly of fights between husband and wife competing with one another...

this movie is actually far better than the reader, both from a content as well as performances perspective...Leo keeps getting better and kate is also one up than her oscar winning performance in the reader
