The present day Actors and Actress's are some how related to Film Industry personalities. They act in Movies because of their influence and Money. Rajnikanth started his career as a Bus conductor in Bangalore has achieved Super Star status with his skills and without influence and money. If at all there is a Super star, It will be only Rajnikanth.
Rajinikanth's dubbed movies have never run well, in the past. There have been several movies of his, dubbed from Hindi and Telugu but they never managed to cross even 7 days in theatres. Some of them are:
Raakkama Kaiya thattu (Chaal Baaz) Chella Pillai (Uttar Dakshin) Ezhai Thozhan Veetukku oru Vallavan Aandavan Bhagawan Dada
The only actor whose Dubbed movies have done remarkably well is Ulaga Nayakan Kamal Haasan. Even his flop movies have run more than 50 days:

Not only Telugu. Kokila is a Kannada Movie. Rajini too has some movies dubbed from telugu and Kannada, like 'Shankar Salim Simon', but they all flopped badly in tamil.

Ram Robert Rahim is another Rajinikanth movie which flopped. Actually there is not even a single dubbed movie of Rajinikanth which has run more than a week in any theatre.

and not no tamils like to see rajni in unimportant roles in other languages...
becos they want the hero to be a hero in those movies too... whereas mot often rajni would done second or third heroes role just for friendship...

You should also check the reverse... Basha was dubbed in telugu... and you know what impact it had in AP. Chandramukhi ran well in almost all languages and states it was released, though it itself was a remake. Chandramukhi alone will offset any other record set in recent times (I personally didnt like that movie at all).
Even Shivaji in telugu did ok if not good.
Again what sort of comparison man? Kamal is in one league and Rajini is in another. And again when will you stop comparing... You guys will compare Rehman with IR, and say IR is great, and then compare IR with MSV and say MSV was majestic..
Kamal, Rajini, Raja sir, Rehman, Mani Ratnam, KB, Shankar, Gautam Menon, Surya, Vikram, Goundamani, Vadivelu, Vivek, Harris, Yuvan, Priya Mani are some the best things that happened to Tamil Cinema over the recent decades.. Don't degrade those with your filthy comparisons...

why did u forget sivaji the blockbuster ?? rajni did not act only in kuselan .. and FYI.. this is not rajni latest movie..this movie is released 18 yrs back..this is a tamil dubbing of old hindi movie
