Dial M for Murder
by Khullam Khullah on Jun 26, 2009 10:26 PM

Was MJ murdered? Sky News says the doctor who 'treated' him is missing, elusive now. Maybe the 50 concerts in London sold out, and organisers made their money already. Or debt-collectors bumped off MJ realising he couldn't clear off his debts. Perhaps new music stars wanted him dead bcz he was looking for a comeback. They felt threatened. Or perhaps it's suicide - MJ may have realised that he can never recover the past magic, and may have been overwhelmed by the huge (500m) debts, family life in tatters, poor health, ageing, lack of soul-mate, business losses (Neverland was sold off). Too much for any one person to carry. Suicide is probable because it is what an implosion is all about. Anyway... RIP.

Why MJ's death should be viewed with balance of mind
by Khullam Khullah on Jun 26, 2009 10:11 PM  | Hide replies

He was a lunatic, substance-abuser (overdose of prescriptive drugs), low self-esteem sufferer (hence the skin dyeing to white), eccentric (holding/grabbing his own crotch). But in music terms, make no mistake -- he was a genius. Add to that his dancing ability. That made him a star performer. Clever businessman too. But, ultimately, was he a good human being? Debatable. But people will remember his music and dancing achivements which will remain unsurpassed forever. He is not a good role model though. He could not handle fame, money and success with equanimity, and loved to project himself as larger than life (remember making a big fuss of pissing in Bal Thackeray's loo in Mumbai). If only he confined himself to singing and dancing....But then, there is this great paradox in everything in Universe. MJ is no stranger to this paradox. Genius yes, but flawed, like every other genius.

Before being a critic, try and appreciate this life and what he went through all his life and his contributions to the world ...

If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make the change ....

When I was 8 (way back in 86'), my dad got me a copy of Thriller when he returned from Austria - that was my first english music album I ever heard ... since then it has been all MJ. I have grown up with him - getting all his albums the day they were launched ...

His music and his music videos have all been awesome .... when I saw "ghosts", I was mesmerized, his "anti-lean" in smooth criminal, his moonwalking, his jive .... everything stands out ....

R.I.P., MJ .... you were the best ... you will always be .... whether with your 39 charities supported (the largest ever by any human as per Guinness book of World Records), or with your Heal the World foundation which has helped thousands of children worldwide or simply with your music and dance ... something that you did way better than anyone ever could have done ...

Thanks MJ for making the world a better place to live in ...

Love him or hate him you always knew the MJ story would not end with him riding off into the sunset. Growing up in the eighties I was a huge fan of the african american entertainer that was Michael Jackson. His music was amazing and so was his dancing. Once his metamorphisis began into Wacko Jacko I no longer was a fan of him or his music. Give his Peter Pan life style and not wanting to grow old maybe dying young may not have been the worst possible for him. I can only hope that his children are well taken care by his family and estate. I will chose to remember as the entertainer that created the Off the Wall and Thriller records. RIP MJ.
