I grew up listening to his songs, I think the first english song i heard was an MJ number only.Songs like Beat it, Black or White are still in my fav list.. Towards the end he messed up big time, but cant deny the music he made was just amazing.

One more gone....RIP
by suraj prasad on Jun 26, 2009 03:25 PM

Christopher Reeve and now MJ, another of my childhood hero gone. Seeing MJ in Madam Tusade as a kid i made a promise, ONE DAY i will see him perform LIVE. Alas the day was supposed to come and now it wont.
All the early years of 80's as a kid each song was so great... i do not know what else to say. May his soul rest in peace....

His song and dance mesmerized me!!!!

I remember, in my childhood days, the first time I saw "Smooth Criminal", I was overwhelmed by the flexible and quick dance moves. Bad, Just beat it, Billie Jean, Thriller, Black or White, Jam sensationalized MJ's amazing dance moves.
When it comes to his singing talents, I was touched by his humanitarian side when I heard "Heal the World", "Will you be there" (Free Willy) and "We are the World" (along with plethora of stars). People like me who grew in 80's and 90's cant forget MJ. He's a Legend!!!!

True. People who were in their teens in the 80's and 90's could have never missed admiring MJ. There was not one single college cultural program that had a number of MJ in some performance. And all hostel room music systems would play only MJ's music. It was so magical. Even now when i buy or install a new music system in my car or at home, the first music to be played would be MJ's. He has great party beats to soul touching music. What a legend. I remember how I was longing to acquire his tokyo concert video cassette in those days. A true legend we are gonna miss for a long time to come.
