Good english doesnt mean a good movie reviewer or a good critic. Y dnt u jst quit ur current job rather than facing such public humiliation. You can definitely do well as an English teacher rating a movie is just not ur cup of tea my friend ur better off reviewing Tom & Jerry or Shin Chan...

Iam sorry to say HI Hi. Our Raja Sen will see logics in Tom and Jerry and he might think that is most absurd comic to be viewed by children. Please dont give suggestions to Raja sen that he should change his mode of cinema.but its better if he stops seeing cinema at all.

Wonder why Raja Sen is still being a critic. He seems to think himself as a God of Movies. NY is not very good, but not as trash as Mr. Sen speaks. Instead, for a change it is his review that is Trash. A final reason why i would never ever refer to reviews on this website before watching a movie... Bye bye rediff!
i am amazed how Raja Sen thinks himself as a Raja of Film 'Sen'se. The movie is tolerable, unlike other movies coming out of trash. Dude, grow up, dont show your personal dislike for a production house as a professional one. This movie has done it for me. Never going to refer to rediff.com for seeing reviews of any film!
new york has a good premise bt the story had nothin to do w.innocent muslims being detained or treated, as it ws suppsd to be the idea/message of the movie. The movie shud hav focused more 1 aspect of the movie, nd evrything to do with it. New york jst showed a piece of this picture bt it came it out be a in a form of bashing of american authorities i.e the FBI. Ther ar diffrnces between wht FBI does dn the u.s army does to criminals in the country nd outside the country.
New york jst ruined the entire concept of how muslims ar treated, as i see in the movie thrs no real picture jst some guy nd thts sam bein thrown in nd beaten nd then released. Its so fast as if they ar showin the FBI as the indian police in hindi action movies, whr its always abt beating a suspect nd thn lettin him go nd he gets revenge aftr planting bombs in their headquarters.
This happens evn w/ the indian police as why this has to happen in new york nd w.a muslim, it can happen between anyone.Evn the path tht sam takes shows no hatred or any kind of personality tht hints revenge. John abraham is so calm like a mafia boss doin his routine job of plannin to kill cops nd pepul who don't return money.
One odd thing is tht when pepul who hired john for his job they fail to see his past records by being in jail. Evn in america while filling out applications for instance sports or anythin, its mentioned if he/she has a criminal record in the past. So in a job application its obvious, he will be known.
New York is a good movie...Not a masterpiece but watchable....Neil looks and acts great..Kat n John look great but not really good acting...especially the climax..An actress like Kajol or Sridevi would have elevated the climax a lot.
