Great review of the movie by the writer here. single star is also too much for this pathetic movie. i just dont understand why director made this movie, bad editing, bogus acting.. poor scripting.. all in all condemn movie plz dont waste ur value able time if u really a fan of good cinema. i wasted my time even after reading the review here. i would request the reviewer to give no stars for such movies.

Which class are you talking about? Probably the one which believes and tries hard to belong to the "CLASS" and takes pride in the fact that they are a 'class' apart from the "MASS". Believe me, one who understands even a little of the art of cinema wouldn't call this a good movie.

Ok Mr. Gosh enjoy Kambakkht Ishq and Chandni Chowk 2 China. It needs guts to create a movie on a different subject rather than the usual masala bollywood movies coz we all know that commercially the normal usual masala flicks work wonders so who cares about the story the subject. We are soo used to seeing the lovey dovey types of movies added with a couple of HOT item numbers and some skin show that we cant accept anything off beat.Atleast the director hasn't gone with the herd mentality and tried out something diff...Hope u understand wat i mean...
I found this review totally mindless. Thank GOD, i watched this movie.
This is an excellent movie, i went to see this with my whole family last sunday. and still we are discussing, whether they should have killed in Katrina in end or NOT.
I think this is the best movie of John as actor. He has really evolved as an actor and nice to see katrina acting in a movie rather than doing dance scenes with actors.

surely, this is ridiculous. What standards do these ppl have actually ? Or they change from time to time ?
I actually saw the movie and really liked it. Atleast it tries to convey a message. I think Rediff should try to hire decent reviewers who rate movies on their merit rather than the star cast.

the message is lost in the efforts of the director to make it a mass-appealer. u r left with vague answers and even a headache too boost. i wuddnt give this half-star. a great idea doesnt make a film hit. its the execution.....n therein it falls flat on its face.

It has a gud story bt yeah it totally departs frm innocent muslims bein jailed post 9/11 nd their treatment. It only showed tht aspect for a little while, thy shud have focused on that a lot more instead of bringin in the flashback friendship,love nd all tht cliche stuff. How the director treated jst this part of the movie reminds me of veer zara, bt new york made it natural nd thts only good thing about it.
It came out be a thriller especially when neil nd irfaan khan joined togethr to get john, bt the movie moved so slow b.c of john's acting nd its really hard to believe tht he is playin a terroist. Its not even that as he is only takin revenge against the fbi, nd only at the end of the movie it actually shows that. FBI meanwhile does nothin about it, it only focused on 2 pepul goin nowhere b.c neil has his own idea of brotherly love towards john.
I only liked irfaan khan nd felt bad for him as oppsed to feelin bad for john nd his family.
None the less, the director tried his best. Since who wud want to watch a whole movie on an innocent guy being in jail, b.c then thy wud be no katrina, new york, the songs, nd the action. For that one has to wait for bhandarkar's movie "jail" to come out.
Ur review itself is trash man & u need to get urself reviewed by someone soon.Criticizing this kinda movie means u dont deserve 2 write reviews anymore.So find something suitable for u.The movie completely rocks alongwid some brilliant acting,direction & gr8 script.
Raja- I am shocked that you have given 1 star for New York..I do not think you deserve to review films, else film industry will die its own death with your poor understanding of films and reviews ...
