PP2 wsn't an extension of the first one, it jst goes arnd the same diamond nd includes a new cast nd is so predicatble nd boring. The first one is obviously funny since its the first to reboot the franchise bt don't know wht happnd in pp2.
The main thieves of the diamond in both movies i.e beyonce nd ash wer horrible in their performances, as thy wer only ther fr looks bt both these "actresses" lukd so out of placed nd cudn't react to the comedy done by steve martin nd his partner which ar the main casts. The rest of the team in pp2 did an average job bt ash totally sucked big time. She just tried too hard fr no reason at all while steve martin nd his partner came off naturally in both their accents nd acting.

In PP1 Beyonce was not the thief, she was gifted the diamond! In PP2 Ash was pathetic and tried very hard to speak in a "American" accent.
