Audience have stopped accepting routine masala flips anymore. They want intelligent storylines in masala flips eg of Dhool, Anniyan, Pokkiri, Billa, Pollathavan or recent one Ayan. They dont want their IQ to be degraded by commercial movies. They accept realistic movies and comedies as a different genre and apply different yardsticks there. But Perarasu movies and Vijay movies (past 4), Vijaykanth movies, all branded commercial movies in past 2 years have all flopped because they were low on Intelligence. Even the Village people dont want to be treated as fools when it comes to story narration. The quicker Vijay realizes this, he will give a hit. otherwise he will fade away like Prashant. Heard for his 50th movie he is tying up with Perarasu - a surefire disaster in the making. Hopeless Vijay ! He is perhaps aspiring to be a Vijayakanth in every possible way.
