Darshan does n't wear his cap properly
by Beeram Manohar on Jul 04, 2009 04:26 PM

Whether Yodha is good or bad, I do n't want to comment. But look at the way the hero of the film Darshan is wearing his cap ! Those in the army and NSG wear their caps known as burrows, slightly sloping on the right-ear. Its not flat all-round like the cooks wear in star hotels. When millions of rupees are spent on making a film, a little care should have been taken towards correct costume designing and the expert in the field should have been consulted. In the armed forces as well as NCC, improper wearing of uniform will be seriously dealt with and let not our film-makers take things lightly at least in future.

Guyz i see the same comment from this guy about all south indian movies be it Kannada or Tamil or Telugu. His intention seems to be to provoke the south - north rivalry. Too many anti-nationals are around inside rediff forums watchout and let us not let each other down and make guyz like Navneeth with ulterior motive to succeed. Let not our pranks about fellow indians go out of hand.. watchout !!!!

what south what north!!, i was in Bangalore for a year. i realize all the times people from karnatka and kerla are pretty okay but tamils guys in Bangalore are very rude and racist kind of people.Tamilian peolples most of time behave like paki's most of times. i never find them that they have any connection for nation or for other state guys. Most of peoples concern abot lanka or local politics.I think tamilnadu is like that. i met some of tamil guys settled in Bombay and pune are pretty flexible and good

Even "Polladhavan" is remaking in kannada as "Punda" You know who is the producer of this movie?Kuppusamy, a tamilian, who is the main producer and he is introducing Tamil film's music composer G.V.Prakash in kannada Industry. If you make a comment on these matters means you are insulting your own ppl.Ofcourse i am against remakes but if others want to remake their movies in kannada film industry, the what to do?

You said that You are a Tamilian staying Bengaluru.Recently "Jab we met" a bollywood movie is being remade in Tamil."Bhagawan" a malayalam hit is also being remade in Tamil. But don't' worry we never complain to your Industry because we feel movies are known to entertain ppl irrespective of the languages and not to create hatred messages among the ppl.

Dude chandran. I never said that Tamil movies are remade. But most tamil movies are remakes from Telugu or Hini. Very very few from Kannada. Maybe only 5-6 till now. Most of the recent Kannada movies are remade from Tamil only. You cannot deny that fact

Rajesh, there are few telugu movies are remamke into tamil. Even those original telugu films were done by tamilians or chennaites. Like Selvaragavan, prabhu deva, and has lot of technical guys from chennai like harris jeyaraj, yuvan, lot of cameramans are tamils, stunt directors like kanal kanna, peter heins are from chennai, top class editors like antony also from chennai. List is endless. so, the end point is tamil influence in telugu cinema is much higher than any other language.

Srinivasan,
I agree the tamil influnece on telugu cinema. But please dont glorify it.Same is the case with tamil.Do not point out ppl like selvaraghavan who has directed just 1 straight movie in telugu and prabhudeva 2 movies(only direction and not handled any other department including story screen play). He was almost ghost directing.Infact Prabhu deva has long career in telugu than in tamil.Better dont talk abt Harris jayaraj and Yuvan who is not having a single hit.But they have done less than 5 films. The only gr8 influence is Ilayaraja, the god of music. If u deny this fact most producers like RB choudhary,AM Ratnam,Editor Mohan,Srikanth,Jayam Ravi,SP Balu,Susheela,PB sreenivas,Janaki amma,Mano,Devi Sri Prasad,Mani Sharma,Vidya sagar, and veterans like Banumathi,Savithri etc the list is endless.I bet the number of remakes in telugu are equal to tamil. The only department where I agree gr8 domination is choreography.Infact these three industries were closeley knitted.Telugu film industry contributed a lot when it was in chennai before shifting to hyderabad. All the major studios are owned by telugu ppl including vijaya, bharani, gemini, prasad labs.Even AVM was about vanish with its first tamil film but their telugu venture helped them to stay in the business.Facts can not be denied and changed. And all this is for information only.No arguements plz.Period.

Mr.Rajesh, the fact is one has to blame BJP-Yeddy govt. in karnataka. This govt. has approved to give 100% tax free to all the kannada movies including remake movies.Previously it was not so.
This has very much attracted producers from other states.Usually remake rights are being purchased by giving a small ammount to the orginal producar/writer and will be remade in their respective languages. Now a days this is a big business in kannada film industry since dubbing system is not present.Just for ex. Buddivantha of Upendra was a huge hit in kannada recently. The original producer (Jeevan of Tamil) and Upendra had invested only 6 crores with small changes in the film. But buddivantha had earned almost 25 crores. So this easy profit had attracted producers from other states.
But not all remake movies are successful.
