who is this raja sen man??? he seems to have a prob wit every dam movie... this movie was great.. I've following x-men series since 10 years & this is a great movie showing how wolverine came into existence... people go watch it, you'll enjoy it!!
Raja sen is one of the most idiotic film reviwer i have come across. He writes crappy reviews for good movies and good ones for faltu, baseless ones. Mr. Sen you have one understood the concept of Wolverine. This movie depicts how Logan is made Wolverine... you see Mr. Sen, Mutants dont die. James (Hugh Jackman) and Victor (Liev Schreiber) are seen fighting together in the American Civil War, World War I, World War II, and eventually the Vietnam War. Their regenerative powers keep them from being killed in the battlefield. James is forced to act as a check on Victor's increasing rage and ferocity. In Vietnam, Victor kills a superior officer after being stopped from raping a girl, and James and Victor are sentenced to death by firing squad, though their unique regenerative abilities keep them alive. So as you write "appear to be a pair of Canadians fierily patriotic about the US, and fight many a battle until the two manicure-needing mutants are enlisted into a top-secret mutant squad called Team X", its quite obvious u have not understood the head and tail of the movie. i could go on and on explaining, but rediff doesnt pay me so i wont write a plot synopsis. but really guys, stop this Raja sen from giving his pathetic reviews!

ur on target there smrila...this reviewer happens to be damn lucky in times of recession where ppl lose their jobs while guys like him are being paid to write reviews abt stuff that is greek n latin for him.pathetic review ever

Smriti You are the idiot here.. A review is one which gives a reviewer's personal opinion on what he felt about the movie. And not what you felt about the movie or any other moviegoer would feel.. In that aspect, I think Raja Sen has clearly put forth his thoughts about the movie which in this case, I agree too.. This movie did not have any soul that X1 and X2 had.. The characters randomly pop in without any reason and they are not fleshed out well.. And most of the movie namely Stryker's experiments had already been mentioned in X2 which made this movie simply redundant.. Smriti, if you and your Raja-Sen-hating ilk cannot understand, then I cant help you!

the movie is damn good.everyone in theatre enjoyed the movie.it is an entertainer.extraordinary special effects,superb action scenes.go watch it.this review is crap.i wonder the author has any idea about x-men franchise.
Movie was out almost 6-8 weeks back and one can see on torrents site for download. I was having high expectations but felt it was not at all that good. Rating : 2.5

That's true it's good but not that great to watch it in a theatre when you already seen it. It was suppose to be released on May1 '09, so not everyone is that patient!
Raja Sen seems to have got it right finally.. its surprising how we go ga-ga over the most inane of absurdities shown in English movies..(superman, spiderman, batman, X men and god knows what else) and at the same time giggle in contempt if any of our Indian heros knocks down more than 2 people...

You have completely missed the point. The movies you mentioned (superman, spiderman, batman, X men etc..) are all super hero movies. A super hero is a super hero because he can do something a normal human being cannot. So its not out of place to see spider man swing across streets or X-men mutant take out a bunch of bad guys all by himself. However our indian heroes are neither super men nor mutants. So when they act as they do in the movies it draws criticism and often ridicule. They invite it. When your favorite indian hero fights 100 or a 1000 armed men and comes out of the fight successful it comes out funny because everybody knows that he is a NOT a super hero. Either digest that or try believing that every indian hero is a mutant in disguise!!

Man no movie is a perfect movie.But as far as i know indian movies are known for nonsense and less of sense.I can make a sense of Spiderman,batman kicking two people as they are meant to have super powers due to some logical reason they have given.In bollywood i can never make sense of the illogical fight scenes,singing and dancing around the trees and nonsense emotional dailogues.

That's why I never give a second thought when it comes to indian films, regardless of the high rating of the film. These Hindi movies are illogical and dimagh pakao; 13B seems the only exception, released this year.
u r right raja. its worth no stars.start giving -ve stars raja. i was sooooo bored for the last 1/2 an hour.the roles r hapazardly driven. the kight bulb guy,y was he even there? its a movie for age group 10-15. I guess this was a movie made just to get the producer out of his debt :)
