Which in turn was a blatant/inspired copy of the Hrishikesh Mukherjee directed 1966 film 'Biwi Aur Makan'. In fact the director of 'Aashi' Sachin Pilgaonkar has freely admitted many times in print that he was inspired by the Hrishi da film... So this is a classic case of pot calling the kettle black

So the chain continues... However, if we dig really deep, it will not surprise me if one finds that 'A House over my Head' was in turn inspired by a French movie. As all cine aficionados know, almost 50% of the Hollywood classics, particularly the comic ones from the 50's and 60's are adapted from French movies. So the quest continues. French movie experts, anyone?

i am surprised with the review. You people don't even see movies before writing. It is a very good comedy & every actor has contributed into this successful movie..Go watch it.....
