Once he was returning to India and at Heathrow Airport people surrounded him for autographs . The airport security had a tough time escorting him to the plane. Also present at the spot was George Clooney. He was so surprised to see the people's reaction that he asked the security incharge " Who is this guy ?" When told he is a great comedian from Bollywood ; George went up to him and had an autograph for himself !!! NOW thats respect
I never found JL humorous at all. Infact his indecent comedy with unresonable creepy yell annoys alot. If you talk about comedy, I rate Paresh Rawal 10/10. He is full of talent with instinct gestures. He knows how to represent a character. Rediff: plz note in the "Paying Guest" movie its Asrani who has paying guests in his house. Johny has restraunt only.

and his name is actually Janardhan Reddy, but he used the name Johny after his favourite comedian Johny Walker, and the Lever came from the company he worked - Hindustan Lever. He converted after he could stop his drinking habit.
I have heard so many stories of Johnny bhai donating money to the poor, buying sewing machines for widows or taxis for drivers etc.. there are many deeds which are done by him unknown to many. he is a Giver and a blessing to the Nation of India after his life changed and he started believing in lord Jesus Christ! There are so many greedy film stars and star indian cricketers who only want more and more money and not give nay thing.. may be a 'T shirt or a bat' but this man deserves to be recognised as a man who donates to the Poor!
