Shiney insisted the sxx was consensual but the victim is denying it and now its up to the court to find out what had happend that day ,now the medical science have improved and it not difficult for the victim and the accused to prove if they are innocent. we as public cannot judge about incident based on the media report ! the fact is media is selling this story and making money , they dont care about the integrity of the news reporting , every thing is business , they work in a simple concept.. more readers = more money!people would'nt care if the media report the news about the r@pe related to Mr X or Y, they condier that news as a regular one b'cos r@pe has become a common thing in india ( atleast in delhi and major cities where women are attacked by the gangs in daily basis) so it wont attract much interst.. on the other side if the news are about any celebrity it has more potentional to become a major talking point and public would give more attention.. creating more business for the Media! i believe the current generation of editors and owners does not care about social justice and they are operating purely based on business success .. cant blame them !! its a competitive world

i can understand ur point its a truth that the publishing business involves millions of investment and they would prefer to publish any articles which would give some income for thier investments, i think in the movie Page 3 they have shown a glimpse of murky world of the media and how it works behind the scene and the business/work ethics of its editors/owners, it would be ideal to remmember the Tahelka and its owner .. he tried to do some thing worth doing based on his instinct and moral responsibilty towards the society but ended up in court and reciving mental/physical abuse from the politicians/court/bureaucrats he lost half of his business deals related to corporate advertisement and other income , i dont think he got any real support from the public to fight his case, they read the story and enjoyed its excitement and forgot after 2 days ! its easy to get motivated after watching RDB or swades but verry difficult to make it work in this filthy world..

Media has very imoprtant role in society. It is considered as FOURTH PILLAR of the democracy.Therefore media should know their responsibilities well.They should not treat journalism as business but as noble profession.We see the very essence of media i.e. impartiality is lacking very much and everthing is commercialized.This trend itself is harmful to media as it will loose it's credibility & very important place in society.
