ABILASH PARAMESWARAN
Living in Australia
by ABILASH PARAMESWARAN on Jan 03, 2010 04:11 PM

I have come for my studies in Australia,I too see hatred and racism here but pls let me knw where doesn't it exist. In India itself we can see such hatredness,NorthIndian, southindian and so on.But one thing is for sure I have learned more patience than in India. Talking about Bollywood ,as mentioned no will care about their actions, they are profit oriented people if not Australia some other country.

Only tokenism
by K on Jun 07, 2009 08:37 PM

Bollywood's gesture is only tokenism and there is nothing wrong in showing tokenism. Well, 2 wrongs cannot make one right. Burning australian missionary with his children is an extremely barabaric act but the present situation cannot be condoned. MNS is after all Indians and we know how to deal with such Indians. There are Maharashtrians in various parts of our country and also in large numbers. Those Maharashtrians will not support MNS or Shivsena for very obvious reasons. People in glasshouses cannot throw stones.

Negative effect
by critic on Jun 07, 2009 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

All this people acting hasty never think about the huge number of Indians already settled there.Such measures can divide the society there & can make matters worse rather than solving the issue. Not many movies r shot in australia & i guess it hardly makes any difference to their economy if bollywood boycotts shooting there, but what can precipitate is hatred against the Migrants of Indian origin from normal decent australians who r actually not involved in these kind of attacks.

Get out of Maharashtra as well
by neha on Jun 07, 2009 11:52 AM  | Hide replies

Why don't they quit maharashtra as well? bcause MNS has attacked bacchan and other bollywood types. Just shift the entire industry to UP or Bihar and stop shooting anywhere in Maharashtra.Show some spine, Bollywood! Why bollywood insists on staying in a state where the owners of the state hate them so much? Bollywood should go where they are loved and respected- UP and Bihar!
They can take their 'revenue' with them, Maharashtra doesn't need their 'revenue'.

India is democratic country and all the citizens have right to stay in any of the state.. Maharashtra is not a property of Raj 'G 0 0 n d a' thakrey or of MNS..

Maharashtra or Mumbai can not survive only with Marathis.. Mind well.. shut ut mouth and open ur eyes..
