This is a poor and bakwas movie... which got oscar only because it shows poverty and only shows bad side of india....
That sucker Dany boyle did not receive Oscar for his whole lifetime and received award after creating movie on Indian poverty.
If anyone want to win oscar just go and shoot slum area and poverty in india and he will get oscar....
A.R. Rahman has given far better music to Indian films...
White people are rich suckers who want to see dirt and pooverty which they dont have and can't see

You have a point - Rahman has composed far better scores for Indian-directed movies, funny that stellar stuff never gets a 'white' audience - why? you tell me!

Any movie made in a language other English can go to the Oscars under the foreign movies category. So, if basically the film is not there, there wont be any awards of Rehman. Though there was a lot of talk about Lagan it fell at the final hurdles and failed to get any nomination.

Lets hope Indian cine makes make better movies, that can really move to Oscars.
