You mean THE Amitabh Bachchan needs cheap publicity....and that too by rejecting an award ??? And what would you have said if he had accepted it - that he is selfish and in the wake of all that is happening now, he should have rejected it !
AB is being treated as a punchbag, whatever he does he will be criticized by creeps like raj thackeray and asha s...after all it does give a kick to think that we have criticized Amitabh of all the ppl - right madame ??

Will bollywood boycott Australia, will they stopping shooting songs in Sydney ( i hope they do, I am sick of seeing the Sydney Opera house and that bridge). When is he going to start some serious charity? Announcing a girls school does not count. Let's us see some real work, its time to give back to the country. Its the millions of poor people that made your movies hits Amitabh what have you done for them?

Why did the people even go to watch his films at first place..before making them hits?? Yes, becuase HE has starred in them. So..Mr. Sharma, this is self explainatory for a personality like him. It seems you have some disliking with Mr. Bachchan and maybe you are Jealous that he still is worshipped in India and round the globe. Well, it is simple..stop watching his movies..or don't even read an article on him. You don't have an iota of an idea on what his popularity means. I live in US and I can vouch for it.
Amitabh, where was your HEART when twin mentally/physically handicapped kids asked you to sing for them on television? Infact, they were from his own state Uttar Pradesh (Kanpur)
Why this article has been captioned as Superstar Amitabh ? He is no more a Superstar. Possibly we can say he is star without light. Therefore he is making such type of Nautanki to bring himself into limelight.

maybe to you he may not be a superstar, but he is and will always remain a superstar for millions of movie goers like me...the only Indian actor to be awarded the Star of the Millenium award !! SRK fans can sit in a corner and lick ur wounds !!!

Well said Sanath. I respect Amitabh & I salute him for refusing Hon.Doctorate. Let me also tell you that we have many Badshah's but we have only one Shahensha & it is only AMITABH BACHAN.
