These are all some digitally mastered songs, which dont sound a bit like the original ones, except for the lyrics and some echoing music,, whay is rediff trying to make a fool of us??
RAFI SAAB IS A TRUE GENTLEMEN IN HIS LEAGUE. NO ONE CAN EVER IMAGINE TO COMPARE HIM WITH OTHERS. HE IS ONE AND WILL REMAIN ONE FOR EVER. VERY HUMBLE PERSON LONG LIVE RAFI SAAB
Rafisabs each song is immortal It will be sung by generations to come. There is no comparision with any singer till date.Nobody can match him. Along with Rafisab lyrics and Music Directors are also equaly important.
Rafi Saahab you are the singer of the millenium..the real Baiju Bawra!
"Chaand ko dhoondhe paagal sooraj shaam ko dhoondhe saweraa Mai bhee dhoondhoo us pareetam ko, ho naa sakaa jo meraa Bhagawaan bhalaa ho teraa Lismat footee aas naa tootee, paanw mein pad gaye chhaale ...O duniya ke rakhwale"
29 years back, it was a black day for male play back singer section of bollywood filmdom when Rafi left us. But still after so many years he is still standang toll. The void is more deeply felt now.
Though, technology has improved a lot, the generation has changed with changed taste. But the golden voices of Rafi, Kishore,Manna De, Talat Mehmmod & Manendra Kapoor are still unparallelled. Today's singers are good but not the best.Alka, Kavita, Shreya are equally good and melodious but can be compared to Lata or Asha, I think they themselves would not consider it.
We should also remember that the soulful songs of Rafi etc. presented to the listeners were actually combined efforts of the deyon music directors and their lyricists, who have given such a longivity to those songs.
I really shudder to think what will be the reaction of the fans and listeners when Lata or Asha would go. May God give them long & healthy life for they are the true living legends of our times!
