The movie he directed Achamakuttiyude Achayan in which he plays the husband whose wife works as nurse in Europe is very touching..truly Malayalam movie has lost a very good character actor

He was good actor.But both films he dirceted was boring.Even it doesnt run for even 10 days in theatre.It was trend in Malyalam movies 10 years back that all sundry actor must direct a movie.

guys...rajan p dev is like a big star down south..esp..malayalam....he is a comedian who handles serious roles as well....great actor...we southerners will always remember him...RIP...
i think this news was waayyyyy important than some show off of a bitchy north indian gal...i bet u guys would have sat drooling then.....

If your General knownledge is restricted to Bollywood and Shah Rukh Khan, then pls try and learn before you comment. He is one of the most brilliant villans in South Indian Cinema. Hardly any Hindi Villan can match is acting. I suggest you use wiki and understand before you comment

He was a good Villan and Character artist both in Malayalam and in Telugu. I remember him in lots of good movies and may his soul rest in peace. Moreover rediff is not only for Hindi actors, but also to all regional actors. These bloody north Indians dont like south indian actors, but instead all the north heroes will remake this south indian movies and these idiotic north indians will say the movie is great. Simple shameless north Indians. The greatest screenplay is done by K.Bhagyaraj who is south Indian. Not to mention the greatness of Mammotty, Mohanlal, Rajini, NT.Ramarao, Nageswararao, Kamal, Prabhudeva, Rajkumar, Chiranjeevi etc etc and great great Ilayaraja and A.R.Rahman. Simply saying South Indians are great creators and successfull movie artists.

Yes ofcourse you can say with ease"Who is this Dev".But for a malayalee he is the best actor especially villan's role.No keralitr can forget him.I pay my tributes and pray god to give strength to the bereaved family to overcome the grief for blossomed flower sustained till noon and withered ere afternoon.
