I really liked the movie..... infact will watch it one more time..... I believe the movie was great in almost every aspect.. from the story, to actors to stunts. These Critics like Mr. RAJA SEN, RAJEEV MASAND think they are God and whatever they say we will agree and the movie's hit and flop depend on them...... Rubbish. I will give this movie a 5 STAR rating. And request Rediff.com to fire this MR. RAJA SEN.
i mean half of us are gonna buy a Rs 150 ticket and the other is only gonna speand Rs 70 and the rest majority is gonna download or get a pirated DVD with 4 more movies in the title... for that kinda money sunjay dutt, shruti, imran worked there asses off and you jerks say "MAZAA NAHI AAYA" . and this raja sen unintelligent critic if he had any thing better to do he must have done by now. I mean film critic i dnt knw if his car runs on CNG or his crap reviews run them.. So move on every movie is worth watchin once... oh sorry i forgot Tashan... hehe

These so called critics like Raja Sen, Rajiv Masand etc think that they are Gods.
What have these individuals done in their entire lives. Have they ever done something creatively. If they are so smart then why dont they make some 'intellectual' movies and enlighten us.

bollywood must die. let individual film industries like marathi, bhojpuri, punjabi, bengali etc come up with blockbusters.

wow u r too risky for a north indian .. u must be a mallu to curse a malayali like that !
Tamil movies are worst movies ? please have a look at SubramaniyaPuram, Sa-Ro-Ja, Nadodikal, Ayan etc for that matter. Agreed that Hindi movies are Bolly"wood" movies with wooden actors (both body and face) !!!
My prayers to good seems to be in the right direction.
Actors and directors of bollywood are executing my prayers.
1) Heros having absolutely no sense of acting and no vareity. 2) Heroines nothing more than a item role/song 3) Directors being a copy cat of south or hollywood movies. 4) fights between multiplex and distributors.
yuuuhoo..my prayers will be answered in the next decade.
There won't be any bollywood after SRK and amir. Rest all are nothing but wastage fibres.

The fact is Northies are the laziest people in the world fit for nothing.they always humilate southies first it was the talented actor "Kamal hassan"..he was always humilated and not given his worth remarks and now its Shruthi hassan's turn.why dont u people accept the fact that southies are talented.

There was a time when we as kids used to look forward to Fridays when movies released. There were no previews, reviews etc. Most of us used to watch almost all movies and decide whether we liked it or not and not let others opinion be imposed on us. We used to enjoy our movies and not poke holes at it coz that is what our movies were meant to be for us..to chill and not to think. Movies like Don, Naseeb, Shaan, in fact all movies of those times can be ridiculed and criticized if u want to, but we enjoyed them rather than scan it for logic.
Nowadays I guess more reviews and previews are depended to decide whether u want to watch a movie, which unfortunately is very unfair to the movie. A product which is a result of the hard work of 100s of people from all strata (the millionaire actors to the 50-per-day chaiwalaa on the unit), and the success of this product depends on the wisdom (or lack of it) of a couple of pseudointellectuals like Raja Sen, Anupama Chopra and Rajeev Masand, who think the heaven of themselves. Their personal moods may decide whether the product is good or bad, and they go to the extent of calling the actors as jokers, the director as a clown and so on, little realizing that it is very easy to watch a movie within their comforts on a free invitation pass and to pass a verdict - horrible or good, mostly depending on whether the tea/drink is good/bad or were there freebies given.
This is the 1st time I am reading a review and will be the last for sure.

I really liked what you said , I share the same views as i'm from the same generation and have been brought up with the typical hindi movie.Hindi movies are not supposed to make too much of sense ,its a genre in itself. No offence to anyone who disliked the movie.

i agree absolutely. These so called reviewers think they can influence the so called 'intelligent' audience by using some witty sentences. The audience also many times get influenced by the so called 'ratings'. So better to ignore these reviews and use your own common sense.

Good for you Sanath... I am not sitting with a pot of cash to finance the producers to chai wala for the crap they make. I am happy that reviews save my cash going down the drain and let me utilize the time for better things...

Looks like you have too much money to spend on Bollywood duds my friend. Plagiarism in any form is an act of shame. The new Bollywood brass is hell bent upon copying Western or South Indian movies. When you end up spending about a 1000Rs going to a multiplex with your family, you ought to know whether it is worth it. I work for the software industry. Do our customers feel compelled to buy a shoddy product just coz so many hundreds of people have worked on it? Reviews help people pick the best while at the same time, give an opportunity to the business to improve their products.

Buddy, it is one thing whether I like ur product or not, and it is another to write in a newspaper that ur product is a w@ste piece of cr@p made by a g@ng of jerks (or clowns or jokers-whichever u prefer). I am sure however bad ur product is, u wouldnt be amused to read such a piece of news about ur product, and wouldnt take it as a piece of knowledge distributed among all..at least, I wouldnt for sure !

Dear friends, treat a movie like it is i.e. entertainment..one person's opinion may not necessarily hold good for others viz Singh is King, Welcome, Partner..in fact most of the hit movies (except SRK movies which happen to be media's favorites) have been written off by reviewers (including the latest New York and Kambhakt Ishq). It only goes to show that the so called intellectuals who review movies have no sense of the pulse of the audience, and hence I for one do not find their opinions as an authorative statement of whether a movie is entertainment for me or not.
i am waiting for raja to make a film...... i m sure it will bomb...... we ve not forgot khalid when made films even his collegeous(critics)did not reveiw haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... raja plx dont think ursel as spelberg....

he can be for sure a 'spellberg' with the number of typos in the review. raja, u in a hurry to trash a film or plain jealous that someone younger than you is given a chance to direct a movie. are you Raja Chaudhary in disguise?
