Rafi Sahab was indeed a great singer.If you check out the videos of his live performances or playback recordings,you will notice that he sung effortlessly!!! It looked as if he is just smiling and talking!:-) HATS OFF! He really had that voice which touched the hearts. And for the reader,Rudra,who posted the song,very nice unplugged performance!I really liked it.You should be one of the winners in this contest.
he used to spend most of his earnings in charity institutions, orphanages, schools. sadly people came to know only after his death. he is such an humble and great personality. may GOD rest his soul in peace. amen.
It is heartening to see all these mail on Rafi Sahab's 29th death anniversary. Nobody can ever forget the golden voice and number of hit/great songs that Rafi sab rendered in his life time. He is unmatchable. He is the greatest singer to me and all his fans. Cheers
