These are true actors who are worth the money spent on watching their movies.. these days all crappy sons and daughters of bollywood personalities end up becoming actors .. they are not even fit to be gardeners.
Nilu Phule was one of the stalwarts of Marathi cinema. He did not quite get his due in Hindi films which were mainly trash during the eighties and nineties. A truly versatile, and prolific actor; and very under-rated.
His all roles are always remembered/viewed as real characters from real life. That's the simplicity and greatness of his acting.Viewing current actor's movies in bollywood is real pain.So called superstars are not able to live up the characters they play.
Who can forget that role of Padmini Kolhapure's father in 'Woh 7 Din'..always asking the tenant Anil Kapoor to tie his 'NAADA'!! A great comic timing he had apart from his villanous acts. Indeed one of the greatest actors of his time. May his soul rest in peace.
