Its sad to hear of the demise of a doyen of theatre and films.
Have grown up watching his Marathi films on Bombay Doordarshan on Saturday evenings.He used to be aan invariable part of those movies. However good or bad thosemovies were,Nilu Phule always excelled as the paan-chewing villan.
My salute to a life well-lived.

Nilu phule was the most versatile actor...he was real legend of marathi & hindi cinema..may his soul rest in peace !!

An outstanding and superb actor who could bring to life realistically the demeanour with true-to-life portrayals of our rogue politicians.
