This is real great news.........and it is sad as well. Mohanlal is perhaps the best actor in the country....he has the most national awards nominations by an actor........however it really pains me when my haryana friend says he does not know mohanlal.....It is a big loss for him and his kind to miss this great actor's movies....The blockbuster movies he acted 10 years back are being made in hindi now......Compare Mohanlal in Thanmatra with SRK in Billu barber.............U will get the difference.....:)...go mohanlal go!!!!!!!

dear JGN......I am an indian first and then a mallu......I enjoy mohanlal 's acting the same way I enjoy sanjeev kumar.....don't just criticise people without logic.......then what is the difference between u and a hardcore taliban terrorist....
its really a great inspiration to the youth of India.....i had never heard anyone like this to move away from stardom into protecting India as a soldier....Mr.Mohanlal,u r a true hero

Why other stars, whom you morons(senthil etc) like,are not ready to join TA...Mohanlal's role will be to inspire youth to join the armed forces .
