Doctorate !
by Ram Parasuram on Jul 12, 2009 01:50 AM  | Hide replies

What is the meaning of honorory doctorate. Can they only put Dr. in front of their names. or do they also put PhD at rear.
Why only Bollywood personalities get Doctorates. Why best actors actresses get doctorates. Cant they afford to buy it.
Why MIT or Harvard or Stanford or UM ,UT oxford, dont give doctorates to these folks.

Australian universities in deserts, canadian universities near to north pole, not so great UK universities only present these degrees.

And our philmi hastis want to be called Dr.... for degrees that are bought...wah re wah

Correction...
Above it is:
Why best actors actresses get doctorates. Cant they afford to buy it.

IT should be read:
Why other best actors actresses do not get doctorates. Cant they afford to buy it.

honorary doctorate degree should be banned... even shak ruhk khan, amitabh bachan, are getting for australian universities. such things are not good for the society. its all a big sham. good thing rahman is not using that fake doctorate before his name. thats only great people follow.

Congratulations ARR

It’s raining accolades for A R Rahman. The music maestro was conferred an honourary doctorate by middlesex univ. from the varsity in music on tuesday...... however, this only marks the beginning as another doctorate from the Anna University which should be coming soon.
Though ARR should be exhilarated at having received the honour Rahman has chosen to not use the title. This is in sharp contrast to some of the politicians, who want to be called Ex: Dr. JJ or so on for many other...

We have seen N number of actors leaders and celebs...trying to broadcast their fake identity as if they love our language...
One guy who is silently contributing to our city and our language is ARR who has never shown off in a fake manner...

His words in tamil during Oscar...
A studio and now a course in chennai
His life and family in chennai ( if some actor was in his place they would have shifted to Mumbai doing only Hindi Movies )

Tamizha Unnaku thalai vanagugiren....
( I bow my head down for a tamilian like u )

It is only in India a 'Muslim' can achieve this much...
by Babu on Jul 09, 2009 11:34 AM  | Hide replies

There are umpteen 'Muslim' nations, but it is India, that nurtures and allow the talents of any citizen without considering anything about his religion or background.

This fact has been repeatedly proven not only in the case of 'A.R.Rahman' but many other individual luminaries before him and I pray, wish and hope many more of such brilliant individuals.

If India should maintain this magnanimity, Insha Allah it should become a 'Super Power' and Global Leader within this Century, Insha Allah.
