Mindless trash!
by Anshuman Patel on Jul 04, 2009 05:37 PM  | Hide replies

This is undoubtedly one of the shabbiest movies of Akshay. I wonder why he is signing such films. He is too good an actor with comic timing to be acting in such mindless trash. This movie is simply awful - even for an Akki fan like me, it was an absolute torture to sit through it. I need my money back from Sajid Nadiadwala and Rubbish Khan oops..Sabbir Khan!

Akshay is not a good actor, when you compare with Amir or Shah Ruck or even Ajay Devgon

What do u expect from a movie which claims to be an 'entertainer' and not a critic-oriented movie. Its upto us guys to select a movie according to wat v want to see. If i wanna see an entertainer i'l see a movie like Kambakkht ishq which is truly entertaining n if i wanna see a critic-oriented movie, i'l not watch it. Simple, isn't it?

If i watch it assuming it to b an entertainer, i'l b happy as its truly entertaining, funny n a nice watch.

If i watch it assuming it to b otherwise, then its my fault...

Enjoy it guys...

Akshay Kumar plays stunt dupliate for Stallone???????? Do any of his features even get close to stallone? At least they could have been logical while making the movie.
Rest of the movie is a tremendous disaster......

Kambakkht Ishq is a Super Hit
by Truth speaker on Jul 04, 2009 05:28 PM

Kambakkht Ishq has grossed a huge 8.50 crore nett on day one taking its total to 9.50 crore nett as it grossed around 1 crore from its paid previews on Thursday.

The first day collections are the second biggest ever for a Friday and around 5-10% lower than the collections of Ghajini on its first Friday due to that film performing better at single screens especially smaller centres

shahrukh is Madari and Media is monkey
Shahrukh buys media people to write stories about his "success" and gullible people believe him. After sometime he will just be a pathetic & pitiable loser.

scriptless stupidity
by Arvind Jain on Jul 04, 2009 05:04 PM

as an actor, i think akshay is the best what bollywood have now, (sharukh can only act & romance, while akshay excels in comedy, dance, action and all all other).

but now i've started thinking he's become overconfident. He thinks that he can carry a meaningless, scriptless movie on his shoulders and make it a hit - singh is king, chandni chowk, kambakth ishq - hit or flop, they all are movies without any story.

'Kambakkht Ishq' amongst biggest openers
by Aurang on Jul 04, 2009 04:50 PM  | Hide replies

Believe it or not, a KAMBAKKHT ISHQ mania has swept across the nation. The film has opened to an overwhelming response and at the end of Day 1, it was clear that the film would surpass the opening weekend business of SINGH IS KINNG and at places, would be at par with GHAJINI, especially in North India. In fact, the film could well turn out to be Akshay's biggest opener so far. While the industry response is mixed [like always… what's new about it?], the audience feedback is very positive.
