The film’s overseas collections amount to almost 30% of the total collections. This was partly because it was released in the US on one of the most popular bank holiday weekends. Total collections from the US stood at Rs 3.36 crore, while it collected Rs 1.44 crore from the UK. The box office collection from Pakistan, where 15 prints were released, stood at Rs 48 lakh.
Kambakkht Ishq continues to do well in the weekdays too with occupancy figures touching about 50%. “Akshay Kumar has a lot of fans who will want to see the film,” says Vishal Kapur, COO, Fun Cinemas.
The music of the film has done well too, according to Biren Ghose, executive director of Eros International Films which also owns the film’s music under its Eros Music label.
It is a hyped film with great actors in it. But however in a developed country like USA I dont think surgeons would wear watch on the top of a surgical glove to operate. It would be a medicolegal issue and nurses would not allow any doctor to operate with accessories on hand .It does not happen in our own country too, think of USA!!!! It is hilarious to see that Akshay kumar is operated on without being intubated for a surgery on tummy.This is necessary to allow the surgeons to operate to have some sort of a protected airway and administer anaesthesia.There is neither mask on the face nor an anesthetist at the head to monitor.I am an anesthetist myself. For information PROPOFOL CANNOT BE GIVEN BY ANY DOCTOR APART FROM AN ANAESTHETIST. This is illegal.Propofol is white in colour and not yellow as depicted in the film.
Kareena, you cannot wipe your forehead when you are scrubbed for a case.You will not be allowed to operate or scrub for a few cases if you do all this in medical field.DOCTORS CANNOT BE NEGLIGENT. Research is necessary before doing any film related to any field.
k i is a bakwaas film. i wasted my 600 rupees on this movie. i had a headache by watching this stupid film. My family could not bear the torture & requested me to kindly take them out of the multiplex hall. dear akki, plz stop terrorising people by acting in such movies. u have acted in some very fine movies but definitely movies this this & cc2c are not among them
Akshay .. what a terrible Flop third rate movie.. You are becoming the new Govinda of Bollywood. Last 4 films have been terrible FLOPS.. I don't care about how much money it made or didn't make ..bottom line is the movie was Pathetic..

Wow...I am still dazed after watching this movie.Utter crap.Does'nt ever deserve a single star. Singh is King is like a master piece when compared to this movie. Thats how bad the movie is!!!! Hopefully Blue will not be like this.

Ya some people like paying a whopping 750 bucks to watch a BORE movie like OM Shanti OM but then dont have money to buy tickets for a really good and slapstick comedy like Kambakkht Ishq
