I am not tamil guy. Generally, I don't see rural based tamil movies. I watched some of them like Paruthiveeran, Subramaniampuram, Virumaandi etc. This movie shows our real game i.e Kabaddi which was not shown in any movie before. This movie deals with the human emotion lived in rural areas. I liked following things about movie. 1) Story telling. 2) Matured direction by Susindhran. 3) Adequate performance by Vishnu, kishor and Saranya. 4) Unexpected Climax which I liked most. 5) Inspirational speech by kabaddi coach. 6) Tragedic and feeling love story of Vishnu and Sarnya mohan.
I think, this is a great movie which should be watched by everyone. Though there are some shades of Chennai 600028 and Chak de india, there is originality in concept and matured script. Songs are also good and adequate to storyline.
This is superb movie. If you miss this in theatre. Buy its DVD and watch it. My rating for this movie is 4/5.

It is a real life Story Madam and I can assure you that this has no relevance or any taking from the above two movies...Maybe you watched a lot of them...
This movie is the best movie in this year release.
Nice screenplay and Nice dialogues by the Director and the Writer.
The story was entirely of Susindran, Kishore is only an actor. He has done his part well. He would have purchased Kannada rights to make this movie in Kannada.
If the new Kannada movie "kabaddi" of entirely different story will Pen and Arunbaboo will get back their comments?
I have to say one thing to ArunBaboo and Pen. They must know that most of Kannada movie are remake of Tamil movies, this is also the same. Even manmadhan was remade there (it was horrible than that was here). They take after the film being hit in Tamil. But now they are sure of this film victory and making it in Kannada.
The Tamil film industry welcomes the actors of any language and Origin.

Most Tamil films especially Rajani's are the remakes of older hits of Amitab bachan.Chandramuki, vassol raja oh! Tamil Industry is breathing b cos of Kannada and karnataka based actors otherwise it is just watching a crap movie like watching Namitha dance in a pub.

hey...me 2 is a kannadiga... but b truthful 2 d heart... if a 100 movies release in kannada 90 of dem wud b copied...out of d remaining 10 5 wud b real stories... 5 wud b own stories... but only around 10 movies wil b a hit (nowadays in karnataka a hit doesnt mean dan dat it shud b a gud movie!!!) ou of dose 10 hit movies 5 wil b copied 1s 4 wud b real stories n 1 wud b an own story!!! dnt evr tak abt rajni....ders no 1 in kannada industry who can evn match a side character in tamil movies... i hav a lot of respect for kannada...but for kannada movies i wud b d 1st person 2 throw stones...

Chandran u r in a place where the biggest joke is film making.Instead of trying to change your taste and opinions about the crap u make and watchu've started blabbering about tamil films and stars it is not the state or language that'll get respect but it is the talent .So even a negro comes from nigeria and does great acting he'll be accepted all over india. But monkeys of KFI can never cross karnataka.

Mr.Prasanna, I thought that u were just a monkey but I didn’t know that u r bitten by a spider. Balachander was not a fool to introduce Rajani in Tamil film Industry without his talency. The same goes to Arjun Sarja, Murali, Prakash etc.sorry to say that KFI’s talency is not limited to Tamil films only.

Chandramukhi is remake of Manichitrathal (malayalam movie) we treat Rajni as Tamilian not as Marathi (he is not at all kannadiga) he worked there that's all.

Rajani's relatives and his brother still speak kannada and live in B'lore.Even rajani is not familiar with marathi language.

A movie is coming in kannada kabbadi & the artist who acted as a coach in the above movie KISHORE is from kannada & he is also one of the producer of the kannada movie Kabbadi & he movie in Kannada is not yet released & the kishore the producer of the movie copied the story from Kannada director & gave to tamilians & made this movie this incident was became a big issue in Kannada industry & now its copied & made in tamil version this is a copied movie of Kannada Kabbadi & its due for release

The making is great and in no scene it look like a third rate kannada films kind of making. even if it release in kannada it'll look pathetic as the stars ctechnicians are no match to anyother south indian film industyr people
