I do not Understand Shahrukh Khan? Bcoz other actors choose films with Script where incase of SRK despite i think he a good actor take those films which dont have Script at all. Otherwise how could this jerk refused to do lagaan,Slumdog Millioniare,Lage Raho Munnabhai. Is he afraid to do experiment. What SRK rejects went onto become history in the world of Indian Cinema. Why the hell he cant get out of his loverboy image as i like his flop films like Dil Se,Maya Memsaab,Swades & Chak de,Bazzigar which was a hit. All say SRK doesnt know how to act? But i really dont agree with that. He has a kind of Intensity or we can say has the energy to make people Watch him or i can say he is always good to watch in whatever he does. But why the hell he dont work with other filmmakers besides chopras & Johars. Can anybody tell me why he refused good films like lagaan,Slumdog Millionaire. Is SRK a darpok in doing different kind of roles. In one of his interviews he says that he sell dreams that i can see in all his films besides Chak de,Swades,Dil Se, Asoka which r flop. I really like SRKS flop films rather than his hits. Why he just want to be Popular & Why cannot he do a Sensible with good acting like Swades, Chak de,Paheli,Dil se,Asoka,Bazzigar,Devdas.
Earlier when I saw the list of the most awaited films of 2009, they were all big banner stereotype movies. How much different can be these big lads of industry ? Very rare good fresh cinema comes out from senior guys.
Once Gulzar saheb has said that we all need our type of entertainment, but it is different for different people. Some finds entertainment in comedy some in love-stories others in vulgarity some in pain. SO we cant generalise some films as entertaining and other as hard.
Anurag Kahsyap ji, we are looking for more from you.
I remember Anurag for Black Friday and Satya. Very few people know that Anurag was story writer for Satya; which is masterpiece in that genre.
Black Friday was well made. Very few people have ability to make documentary into a movie. There is less drama in real life which requires significant patience to convert into movie.
I was not very impressed with No Smoking though; intention was good but something was missing from movie.
Will wait for Gulaal to see how he does this time.

Now it has been proven once and for all the extent of maniulations this Kashyap guy indulges in. Refer to three preceding comments..all of them are the same but with a different name each time.
Shame on you Anurag..you cant make yourself a hit by this kind of cheap gimmicks.
Both DEV D and Gulal imo are going to be a repetition of No smoking...senseless and pseudo..like the man himself.

You are absolutely right if Swades and Lakshya flop and Om Shanti Om and Krissh are hits then we must question the intelligence of our fellow movie audience members in India - the tastes of the Indian audience is a real mystery sometimes!!!

am an dmirer of kashyap's films but hate people who question the intellect of fellow movie goers... eeach to his own taste..people go for entertainment..if they had to apply their brains in cinema halls to understand movies..they would rather skip it and put those efforts in their real life.. shame on you freaks who think they are a breed apart when it comes to watching movies

You really think Anurag Kashyap has time or inclination to post silly comments on Rediff message board? How does it help his film in any case? Gosh, Anurag must read this, he'll be mighty amused.
