first of all who thought of giving this award to akshay .... guys plz wake up ... all this is staged ... akshay knew well in advance that he will be anounced for the award ... and since he knows that amir doesn't go for award ceremonies he porposed his name ... now if amir accepts the award it will be known as akshay's large-heartedness ... and if amir rejects it will be seen as amir's meanness ....

now ppl will overlook his not-so-good acting skills and see his humility(fake or real GOD knows) and throng to see his movie. Akki knows how to fool indian junta. At least he should have tried to act better and do better movies rather than punjabi comedies. Reg. awards.... everybody knows they r fixed.. this is just the modus operandi of industry and stars to bring in limelight the Akki baby to leav no stone unturned to promote him or movie.

Saying Punjabi comedies as stupid is a testimony to Ur racial mindset. Akshay truly deserves the award as Singh is Definitely the King. Right from Politics to Cricket to Olympics to Movies... Wake up you maroons...

I really fail to understand why people get so hyper about these things...The glamour world is a big stage of hollow show offs and publicity stunts. The actors are just doing their work as part of their profession. We should watch the movies, laugh if its funny, shrug off if its baseless and go on with our lives...why to spend so much time and energy on fighting over who is popular, who is not and all that....If you cme to think of it logically, its all nothing more than gimmick and stunts...OSO was one of the highest business grossers last year...Can even the most ardent fan of SRK vouch and say that the film had any logic or anything special about it apart from a big show of luxury...even SRK's performance was most mediocre...but its has earned money...Similary Singh is King is nothing more than an average entertainer that you can see without getting bored and may be enjoy in bits and pieces...but it did huge business...if we think that we are smart people and then we make films like this to be superhits it questions our own intelligence levels and nothing else...I belong to this generation but still feel that low or medium budget films of 70's such as Golmaal, Jaane bhi do yaron, naram garam etc, were much more wholesome and quality movies...

why we r fighting over Bollywood king. its publicity gimmik. Channels get TRPs and Actors get promotion $ news bytes. also every body has its own fan following. Amitabh Bacchan never got any awards until YashRaj kept their Poster Boy Rajesh Khanna on the Lump of Bribes offered to win awards.
Remember - Sholay, Zanjeer, Anand, Majboor and many others? i hope u have much brains huh?
Similarly Akshay has not got any awards for his good movies like
Aankhein Khakee Sangharsh Namaste London Ajnabee Angaarey Main Khiladi Tu Anari Bhool Bhulaiyya Khiladi Waqt Mohra Hera Pheri
And worst movies like Dil To Pagal Hain Kuch Kuch Hota Hain K3G Om Shanti Om
have recived allocades...yes only by paying bribe to media and jury.

Sangarsh is one of akki's best performances, he had high acclaim for the film with critics, it also won some awards.
